Caring and reading at Woodward

The Community Advocate writes about special programs at Woodward, including CARE, a program focused on caring, acceptance, and respect for others, and “One School, One Read” which apparently is a school-wide book club. Here’s a cool story about some Algonquin students who had the opportunity to practice real-world laboratory techniques on, of all places, a bus. “The students tested synthetic hemoglobin for sickle-cell anemia aboard the Boston University School of Medicine CityLab, a laboratory on wheels that travels to schools throughout the state to teach biotechnology.” … Full
