Town House changes?

The Boston Globe reports on possible renovations to the Town House, to the tune of $200,000. New cameras watching traffic

Have you noticed the new cameras at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Oak Hill Rd/Central St.? They’re not to monitor speeding, or to catch cars running the light. Instead, they detect cars and trigger the light to change. The camera system replaces the old wire-loop detectors embedded in the pavement. Learn more in this

Parent/child tennis tournament – last day to register

Today is the last day to register for the Second Annual Parent-Child Tennis Tournament sponsored by the Rec Department. The tournament will be held on Sept. 27 and 28. Can’t get enough of tennis tournaments? There’s also the Third Annual Mixed Doubles Tournament on Oct 4 and 5. Registration deadline for this tournament is Sept.
