Southborough’s only ladder truck is permanently out-of-commission, and the Fire Department is recommending the purchase of a replacement to the tune of nearly $1 million. A detailed report explaining why Southborough needs a ladder truck, what the purchase options are, and where the funding might come from has just been issued by the Aerial Ladder Study Committee.
