When a tree falls in Southborough

Apparently a whole lot of people hear about it.

This was in the papers and on TV, so you probably already know that a 100-foot pine tree fell on a house at 15 Reservoir Drive. Thankfully, no one was hurt, although four people were in the house at the time, including two young girls sleeping in an upstairs bedroom.

The house is owned by Baltazar Palencia. Remarkably, damage was minor and the house can still be lived in. Find more details on the Southborough Fire Department website, or at one of the links below.

The homeowner whose home was damaged failed to mention that the tree which fell may have been on HIS OWN PROPERTY, not his neighbors! Somehow he and the press left out this “little” detail.
