According to the Metrowest Daily News (via Wicked Local Southborough), the Southborough Board of Health said last week that it had received more than a dozen complaints from neighbors about the strong stench of manure coming from the former Capasso Farms (now the Country Gourmet). Which apparently can happen when piles of chicken manure sit around for a few weeks.
But not to worry! In a follow-up article, the newspaper reports the manure has now been spread. Whew. Literally.
