Winter storm warning: Get your shovels and ice melt ready

The National Weather Service says a “significant winter storm” is on its way, with a winter storm warning in effect starting tonight at 11:00 pm and running through midnight tomorrow.

Advisory Committee requests reduced budgets for fiscal year 2010

Before the holidays, I reported that the Advisory Committee had decided to request two sets of budgets from town departments for fiscal year 2010 — a level-services budget and a no-tax-increase budget.
