Tomasso taking part in Restaurant Week

Tomasso Trattoria is offering a special menu at a special price as part of Restaurant Week Boston, which despite the name, isn’t limited to Boston and last more than a week.
From now until Friday, March 27, you can get a 3-course meal for $33.09. (I can only guess that 9 cents is important.)

Southborough unemployment rate relatively low

According to January unemployment numbers, the recession has finally hit Metrowest, but Southborough has been relatively spared.

Trottier math team has a good showing at states

In February I told you the Trottier math team placed 6th in the MathCounts chapter competition to qualify for the state competition. States were held on March 7th at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and the math whizzes from Trottier placed a respectable 16th out of 27 teams.

Ladder truck removed from April warrant?

This story is still evolving, but apparently sometime last week the Southborough selectmen removed the article to fund a new aerial ladder truck from the April warrant.

The week in town government

It’s a busy, busy week in town government. On Monday night the Advisory Committee will present a public information meeting on your tax rate.
