Community garden plots available

The Southborough Conservation Commission is offering community garden plots to residents who want to raise vegetables, herbs, or flowers. But if you want one, you’d better act soon because they’re going fast.

The plots are located on the Breakneck Hill Conservation Land in full sun and with access to water. There are two sizes: 10 feet by 10 feet for $15 for the season, and 10 feet by 20 feet for $25. Seniors can get plots at no cost.

Southborough residents are given priority, but if space allows, residents from area towns can reserve plots for an additional $5. Currently the lmit is one plot per household, but you may be able to sign up for more than one if there are still plots available when the sign-up period ends in mid-May.
