More than 700 in Southborough are without power

by susan on May 20, 2009

National Grid says 767 customers in Southborough are without power right now. According to their website, power should be restored by 12:30pm. No reason for the outage was given.

At my house, the power went out at around 11:00 am. I drove to my parents’ house — because they have power and heaven forbid I should be without Internet for more than 5 minutes — and on the way I went past the movie set. Lights were ablazing, so apparently no impact there. As I recall they brought in generator trucks to provide power to the set.

Update (12:23 pm): Looks like the lights are back on.

My power was off for 1/2 hour down here in Cordaville. My lawnmower runs on gasoline, so I was not affected one bit ;-)
