Save the date: Technology recycling day 6/20

Start cleaning out your closets, because the Northborough-Southborough Schools Technology Department will hold a technology recycling day on June 20. All proceeds will go to the Algonquin Green Club.
Items accepted include:

Computer monitors
Laptops
CPUs
Speakers
Mice and keyboards
Computer accessories
All printers
Camera equipment
Stereos
VCRs
TVs
Appliances
IPods and MP3 players
Phones
Microwaves

Small items are $10, and larger items like console TVs and appliances are $20.

FIOS for all by the end of the year

Are you still waiting for FIOS (Fiber-Optic Television) to reach your neighborhood? According to Verizon, the service should be available to all Southborough residents by the end of the year.

Food pantry is recipient of movie meals

The Southborough Food Pantry located at Pilgrim Church had to close down while the move was in town, but you probably won’t hear anyone complaining about that. In fact, you’re more likely to hear food pantry volunteers singing the movie’s praises.
Caterers for the movie were set up to feed hundreds of cast, crew, and extras.
