Gas prices on the rise

Gas prices fell by two cents this week, but overall they’re up an average of almost $1.00 since the start of the year. That may sound bad, but let’s remember that last year at this time prices were up over $4.00 a gallon.

Kids’ Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday

The Southborough Library will hold its annual Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday. All kids are invited to march from the Library up to the Town House.
The parade starts at 11:00 am. Refreshments will be provided.

Follow-up discussion about Southborough’s villages

Back in April, the Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC) held a public workshop on the future of Southborough’s village districts — Downtown, Fayville, Cordaville, and Southville. There was a scheduling conflict that night, and some residents were unable to attend, so the ZAC will hold another discussion on Wednesday night.
