The Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to help out with this year’s Summer Nights celebration scheduled for Sunday, August 30 (rain date August 31).
Here’s what they need:
- 6 adults for parking and dunk tank
- 10 teens or adults for the 3 inflatable
- 6 teens or adults for face painting (art experience a plus)
Shifts are rotated, so volunteers will still be able to enjoy the event. Students who volunteer will receive a letter for their community service.
“This event is all run on donations and only a few volunteers that make it all happen. We really need additional help the day of the event,” Recreation Director Doreen Ferguson said.
