Time for another open thread. For those of you new to the blog, the open discussion thread is your place to ask questions, sound off on town issues, or share information with other readers. Here are some suggestions to get you started:
- Ask questions about programs in town or the town itself
- Post a note about things that you’re selling or giving away, or things that you want
- Share notices about upcoming events (Southborough or otherwise)
- Register your thoughts on town issues or news stories
- Point out interesting or helpful resources

Please note that the special primary for the U.S. Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy until his death will be contested on Tues. Dec. 8. The normal polling places (Woodward, Trottier, and Finn schools) will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A note from interim principal Lavoie said that the parking area between the track and gym entrance is being reserved for voter parking on the 8th; note that there is a concert at 7:30PM at Trotter so it will probably be a busy area in that timeframe.
