Holding an election isn’t cheap, and the state announced last week it will reimburse cities and towns nearly $6.3M for the special US Senate election held in January. The was the election to replace the late Ted Kennedy.

Southborough will get reimbursed a total of $10,160.

A small contribution to the silly legal fees recently incurred by the BOS .
