It’s time for the third annual Finn March Madness 5K run/2K walk. It’s a fundraiser for Finn SOS, and it’s always a good time. Last year the event raised nearly $7K for SOS programming.

The race will take place on Saturday, March 26, with start and finish lines at Finn School. The cost is $20 per runner/walker. Kids 15 and younger can register for $10, and Finn students walk for free.

There will be babysitting during the race for $1 per child. There will also be a silent auction with many sports-related items.

You can sign up for the race online. Organizers are encouraging participants to sign up as teams, and the team with the most participants will win a prize. All pre-registered participants will get a free t-shirt. The field closes at 500 runners.

Volunteers are needed on the day of the race to help with set up, registration, the silent auction, and the race route. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact Rachael Dietz at rachaeldietz@gmail.com.
