It’s an evening of spelling and costumes and laughter, and last year it raised more than $13K for the Southborough Education Foundation. Here are details on this year’s spelling bee:
Can you spell F-U-N? The 4th Annual Southborough Education Foundation (SEF) Spelling Bee will take place on Friday, April 1 at 7:00 pm at the Trottier Middle School. Doors open at 6 pm to allow for bidding on great raffle prizes. This year’s Bee will once again feature teams from our schools, local businesses and community organizations. It’s an evening of fun for a great cause.
Local businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor a teacher team’s entry fee. All proceeds go towards funding innovative educational programs in Southborough public schools. Raffle prizes include sports tickets and gear, a Bose music system, gift certificates to local businesses like Tomasso and Mamas ‘n’ Divas Nail Salon, golf lessons, personal training, and more. You can see the full list here.
