It will be teachers versus principals versus parents in a spelling showdown at Trottier on Friday night. Taking the stage at the Fourth Annual Southborough Education Foundation Spelling Bee will be the Spell-derella’s, Word Nerds, Word Wranglers, Fortune Spellers, and many more.

The Master of Ceremonies will be Bruce Werner. Spellers will be judged by Donna McDaniel of the Northborough-Southborough Villager, Superintendent of Schools Charles Gobron, and Neary School Principal and three-time Spelling Bee Champion Linda Murdock.

In addition to the spelling bee, there will be a raffle featuring sports tickets and gear, a Bose music system, gift certificates to local businesses like Tomasso and Mamas ‘n’ Divas Nail Salon, golf lessons, personal training, and more. You can see the full list here.

The show starts at 7:00 pm at the Trottier auditorium, but doors open at 6:00 pm for bidding on raffle prizes. Admission is $2 per adult and $1 per child with a $5 maximum per family. Proceeds go toward funding new educational programs at all the Southborough schools.
