Big Ryan’s Tall Tales
Tuesday, August 16 @ 11:00 am
Big Ryan (bigryanstalltales.com) returns to the library with a variety of funny tales to tell. All ages are welcome to attend this storytelling performance filled with humor and audience participation. No registration necessary. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Algonquin Freshman Orientation
Tuesday, August 16 @ 4:30 pm
Come and ask questions about the difference between 8th grade and High School. Answers and advice will be given by recent freshmen. Refreshments will be served. Location: Meeting Room across from the Children’s Room. (More info here)

Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Tuesday, August 16 @ 6:00 pm
Come and provide valuable input into the purchasing of young adult books and materials as well as help plan teen programs. Bring one of your family’s favorite foods for our multicultural celebration. Soda provided by the Friends of the Library.

Pajama Story Time
Wednesday, August 17 @ 7:00 pm
Join Miss Kim for stories out on the lawn (weather permitting). Bring a blanket.

Movies at the Library
Thursday, August 18 @ 2:30 pm
This week the library will show “Madagascar” (86 min., rated PG). Popcorn and juice will be served. All ages are welcome, but note that parents or caregivers must stay with children during the movies. Popcorn and movie license provided by Friends of the Southborough Library.

The events listed for “Tuesday the 14th” are indeed on Tuesday — on the 16th.
