Selectmen nix purchase of washer and dryer for police station

At their meeting last week the Board of Selectmen considered a number of important topics, from a 40B housing proposal, to the police department’s cruiser fleet, to finding a new fire chief. They also spent more time than you might imagine talking about a washer and dryer.
