Fire department logs for the week (10/25 – 10/31): Snowtober kept things busy

Take a glance at the fire department logs for the week and you get a sense of how hard emergency responders worked during this weekend’s “historic” snowstorm. Calls started coming in fast and furious starting around 6:00 pm on Saturday.

Police Chief Jane Moran told Selectmen last night that the volume of calls this weekend was “a little more intense” than during Tropical Storm Irene.

“I’d like to thank the DPW, police, fire, and emergency management volunteers who have again done an outstanding job,” Selectman Bill Boland said.

Absolutely a big thank you to all the fire, police and Public works crews. You all do very good job and have very non-governmental attitudes which we appreciate.

PS Does anyone know what a “Good Intent Call” is?
