Southborough police logs (5/17/12 – 5/19/12): Assault and battery at the Primate Center

Thursday, May 17, 2012

  • 2:33 am – A Southville Road resident reported seeing two individuals with flashlights in his backyard. Responding officers located the resident’s neighbor nearby, who apologized for accidently crossing over into his neighbor’s property. The situation was resolved by the officers.
  • 2:49 am – An officer on patrol investigated two suspicious youths running on Cordaville Road.
  • 5:55 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 8:05 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 9:10 am – A Pinecone Lane reported a domestic issue to police (not investigated).
  • 9:17 am – A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 9:49 am – ARRESTED: A Parmenter Road (Framingham) man was arrested and charged with Trespassing and Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon (chain), after he entered the Harvard Primate Center property and began swinging a chain at security guards at the center.
  • 1:56 pm – A caller reported a large tree limb was blocking Woodland Road. An officer responded to the scene and was able to remove the limb from the roadway.
  • 2:55 pm – A Cordaville Road resident reported that workers at a nearby home under construction were urinating in plain view. Officers spoke to the homeowner and made contact with the construction company. The situation was resolved.
  • 4:42 pm – Officer received a report of an intoxicated female riding her bicycle on Cordaville Road. After the female party was located, the incident was then classified as a medical assistance call.
  • 5:37 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road (at Woodland Road). No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 5:56 pm – A resident of Highland Street reported that his iPhone had been stolen. Police are investigating the incident.
  • 8:12 pm – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a William Onthank Lane residence.
  • 8:15 pm – Officer responded to a Wood Street residence for a domestic dispute involving an out-of-control juvenile. The situation was resolved by the responding officers.
  • 8:21 pm – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a guest staying at the Red Roof Inn.
  • 9:11 pm – Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Boston Road resident.
  • 9:20 pm – Officers investigated a report of illegal dumping on Lynbrook Road.
  • 9:53 pm – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 10:42 pm – Officers investigated a report of two individuals with flashlights in the woods off of Acre Bridge Road. Responding officers were not able to locate anyone in the area.

Friday, May 18, 2012

  • 1:57 am – ARRESTED: A Milford man was arrested and charged with OUI Alcohol and Speeding.
  • 5:11 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 6:20 am – Officers investigated a hit & run accident at a Framingham Road business.
  • 8:08 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Framingham Road.
  • 9:43 am – Officers investigated a vandalism report at a Pinecone Lane residence.
  • 10:00 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Burnett Road residence.
  • 11:46 am – Officers responded to a possible intruder in the basement of a Cordaville Road residence. It was later determined that the resident’s son had returned home without the parents knowing.
  • 12:44 pm – ARRESTED: A Marlborough woman was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle after License Suspension (Subsequent Offense).
  • 1:52 pm – Officers checked on a suspicious male reported to be sleeping in his vehicle on Main Street. The operator checked out o.k.
  • 3:08 pm – A medical was reported at a Newton Street business.
  • 5:39 pm – Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on Turnpike Road. The motorist had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.
  • 7:54 pm – A restraining order was served to a Parkerville Road resident.
  • 8:24 pm – An Oak Hill Road resident requested to speak with an officer about a neighbor dispute.
  • 8:59 pm – A motorist reported a male and female party sitting on the side of Framingham Road. The responding officer advised that the couple was waiting for a ride.

Saturday, May 19, 2012

  • 12:28 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 2:18 am – Officers checked on a suspicious male party riding his bicycle on Main Street. The individual checked out o.k.
  • 4:06 am – An officer on patrol found a running motor vehicle in front of a Turnpike Road business. The officer made contact with the owner of the vehicle, and everything checked out o.k.
  • 5:50 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 6:14 am – Officers on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked behind a Cordaville Road business. Everything checked out o.k.
  • 6:21 am – Officers investigated a second burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 6:37 am – Southborough police assisted a Probation Officer with a possible violation on Leonard Drive.
  • 7:03 am – Officers investigated a third alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 8:15 am – A resident of Main Street reported a coyote in their backyard. The Animal Control Officer was notified of the sighting.
  • 9:44 am – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Southwood Drive residence.
  • 11:42 am – Officers investigated a report of threatening emails to a resident of Main Street. The incident is currently under investigation by the responding officer.
  • 1:05 pm – A medical was reported at an East Main Street residence.
  • 2:29 pm – Officers responded to a domestic dispute in progress at a Constitution Drive residence. The situation was resolved by the responding officers.
  • 5:34 pm – ARRESTED: An Ashland man was arrested when officers found two active arrests warrants issued for him during a traffic stop.
  • 5:34 pm – Officers investigated a report from a Parkerville Road resident of a male party operating an ATV on private property. The rider was located and advised to leave the area.
  • 7:19 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Main Street.
  • 8:22 pm – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Marlboro Road residence.
  • 8:34 pm – ARRESTED: A Clinton woman was arrested and charged with OUI Alcohol and Defective Equipment violations.
