Tuesday October 9, 2012

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This program is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each story time will feature stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • Legos at the Library(3:45 – 5:00 pm): Children age 4 and up are invited to build with Legos at the library. Legos and project ideas will be provided. Parents or caregivers must stay with the children, and all Legos must remain at the library. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • Teen Advisory Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come and provide valuable input into the purchasing of young adult books and materials as well as help plan teen programs. Pizza and soda are donated by the Friends of the Southborough Library. Location: Meeting Room across from the Children’s Room

  • Young Adult Book Club (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come join the young adult book group to discussJasper Jones, by Craig Silvey. Pizza and soda are donated by the Southborough Dominos Pizza on Route 9. Location: Meeting Room across from the Children’s Room
  • Southborough Library’s Southborough Business Network Planning Meeting (6:30 – 8:00 pm): The Library’s Southborough Business Network volunteers put together a quarterly business speaker series, and will be meeting to plan the next event. All are welcome to participate in this effort! At the next talk we’ll host KAZ, a medical instruments company located right here in Southborough.

  • Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This program is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each weekly story time will include puppets, short stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • 4th-6th Grade Book Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come join the 4th-6th grade book group to discuss the book Ghosthunters and the Totally Moldy Baroness! by Cornelia Funke. Pizza and soda will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
