7:15 Tuesday in Cordaville: did anyone feel the ground rumble? Our refrigerator was just shaking for a few seconds. Atwood Road.

Did anyone feel a tremor around 7:10 PM. Small earthquake? It only lasted about 5 seconds.

Piano anyone?

I will give this piano to anyone who takes it away. I know pianos are not in much demand right now, but am hoping to find this one a good home instead of giving it to 1800GotJunk. It does need tuning. I need to place it before Nov 12.

It’s a Hamilton upright, used by Tanglewood for summer practice sometime in the mid 1970’s. It’s been in my home since then. Hamilton is made by Baldwin. Here’s a link to a description of the company and its pianos. I have pictures and a scaled diagram of its dimensions, if you are interested

Does anyone know why a school bus is parked on the corner of Newton Street and Main Street? It is gone during the school day and it is not a Southborough bus. I imagine the driver lives nearby but I find it to be an eyesore. I am wondering if it is “allowed” to be there.

I’m wondering the same thing. I agree it’s an eyesore and if it’s a Sudbury bus then it should be parked at the Sudbuy bus garage, right?

I was just wondering when the permission to illegally park at the Cordaville Triangle expires, since it has been going on ALL summer and fall. Maybe it’s all in who you know??

I am hoping that someone can help me get a brownie vest loaded with badges back in to the correct hands. On Saturday at the Care Package Drive a brownie named Lauren was helping stamp in the shipping area. When she left her vest was left by accident, the numbers 72814 are on the vest under Eastern Massachusetts. I would love to get this back in her hands, she has blonde hair and is cute as a button. Thanks,.

Lisa, I am on the board of Southborough Girl Scouts and can return the vest to it’s owner. Thank you! Please email me at gnsec@aol.com so we can touch base.

A few weekends ago I drove by the Fayville playground 9am Saturday and there were some young kids having a sports practice on the field. Later that same morning I took my own kids over to the playground and there were yellow flags all around the field indicating it had been sprayed and children were not to play on the grass. My concern is that the sports practice wasn’t relocated or delayed and as a parent I’d like to know when pesticide applications are going to happen so I can find a different place for my kids to run around.

While processing the “donation bin” cans the at the Transfer Station , (Cub Scouts), I was surprised at the amount of NON returnable water bottles that people deposited.
Just a reminder that the bin is for MASS RETURNABLES.
Also just a reminder NO GLASS, as posted. This is due to the injury potential when a bottle is dropped on the cement.
Thank you

Most mornings I pass Woodward, around 7:00 AM, I see a charter school bus picking up students, all young men. What school are they going to? St. John’s? St. Sebs? Hillside?

At beals preserve. The cows’ water is empty and they are knocking over the tub trying to get the last drips. Who should I call?

Hi there, thanks so much for noticing. We were late with delivering water today. There tank is full. For those who love the steers, they will be moving up to Chestnut Hill Road for the winter months. Stop by to say hello

We do love them! We (adults and kids) walk there often and the steer always make us smile.

BTW, anyone know of a local non profit that might like a donation of office supplies? I have a box of unused supplied (binder sheets, sheet protectors, tape dispensers etc). Nothing fancy, but all unused.

Does anybody know what is planned for the future of Fayville? I have seen the projected plans,to add more business to the eastbound side of Route 9. On the westbound side we have had water problems for years, is that taken into consideration for development there?. And will the developing affect the value of our homes? And not affect our septic systems? Many of which were recently replaced.Thank you for any information.
