Reminder: Santa comes to Southborough on Saturday

Santa Claus will make his usual flashy arrival in Southborough on Saturday, December 15, when he lands via helicopter on St. Mark’s field (weather permitting). From there he’ll head over to the Community House to hear the wish lists of all the good little boys and girls. The Jolly One arrives at noon, and will be at the Community House until 3:00 pm.

The entrance fee for an audience with Santa at the Community House event $5 per child or $10 per family, which includes a photo. While awaiting their turns, children will have the opportunity to participate in crafts, hear stories, and listen to live holiday music courtesy of Mr. Dave of Garden Music Together. On the way out, families can celebrate the experience with cookies and hot chocolate.

Before Santa’s arrival, stop by the Southborough Library to help them decorate for the holidays by making ornaments for the library Christmas tree (10:00 am – 12:00 pm). Also swing by the Friends of the Southborough Library’s Holiday Sale (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) to pick up some holiday gifts, and enjoy the company of fellow patrons at the annual Library Open House (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) – all happening on Saturday.
