  • Board of Southborough Library Trustees (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm): The Board of Southborough Library Trustees meets on the third Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m., in a meeting room on the lower level of the library. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome.

  • Nature Program: Creepy Crawly Creatures (3:45 – 4:45 pm): Children age 5-8 are invited to learn about bugs including ladybugs, worms, beetles, and caterpillars in this class led by Hands On Nature. They will observe live bugs with microscopes and use special lenses to see the world through the eyes of an insect. Registration required. Please sign up at the Children’s Room desk. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
  • Friends of the Library Meeting (7:30 – 8:45 pm): The Friends of the Library will meet to discuss current and upcoming library related events. New members are welcome. Please call the library for more information.

  • Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This program is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each weekly story time will include puppets, short stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • Craft for Kids: Paper Castles (3:30 – 4:45 pm): Children are invited to the library to make paper castles. Younger children will be able to decorate pre-cut castles, and older children can cut and fold their own. This event is for kids ages 5-8, but younger and older siblings are also welcome. Parents or caregivers must stay with children during the craft. Please register at the library or by email to becmelo@yahoo.com.
  • Open Forum – Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen Proposals (7:00 – 8:45 pm): Make an informed decision at Town Meeting this year (on Monday April 8, starting at 7:00 p.m.) after you attend this year’s Public Forum at the Library, to review the proposed town bylaw changes related to the role of a Town Administrator and whether or not the Board of Selectmen should be three or five members. Bring a friend or neighbor! Refreshments will be served.
