  • Teen Advisory Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come and provide valuable input into the purchasing of young adult books and materials as well as help plan teen programs. Pizza and soda are donated by the Friends of the Southborough Library.

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

  • Young Adult Book Club (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come join the young adult book group to discuss Abarat, by Clive Barker. Pizza and soda are donated by the Southborough Dominos Pizza on Route 9.

Thursday, June 13, 2013

  • Public Health Series: Gun Safety and Reducing Gun Violence (7:00 – 8:45 pm): Join us for this thought provoking talk by Dr. Louis Fazen, on an important issue of the day: Reducing Gun Violence and Promoting Gun Safety. Dr. Fazen has recently attended a national conference on the topic – and will share some important ideas with all who attend.

  • Summer Book Sale (10:00am – 3:00 9m): The Friends of the Southborough Library will hold their annual Summer Book Sale.  Books are the main, but not only, event.  Also for sale: DVDs, CDs, tote bags, and children’s reading/writing materials.  Giveaway – one free book per child. (Proceeds will be used to fund library equipment and services not covered by the town budget.)
