Obituary: Robert “Bob” Wagner, 47

Robert “Bob” Wagner of Southborough died on Friday, June 28, 2013.

Born in Natick, Massachusetts on May 5, 1966, he was the devoted son of Dorothy Miller & the late Henry D’Angelo of Twins Enterprise. Bob was raised in Natick, attended the Joseph Keefe Regional Technical High School and graduated from Natick High School, class of 1984.

At the age of twenty, he started, owned and operated the Robert Wagner Plumbing & Heating Company of Framingham. He began working out of his car and eventually built his company into a fleet of trucks. However, ask anyone who knew Bob and they would tell you that the most important thing about his company was his “guys”. He was all about taking care of his employees. He even donated one of his company trucks to the Keefe Technical School for their plumbing division six months ago.

He was a hard worker with great humility and operated the company for over twenty-five years. He loved summers and riding his Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike.

Bob was the loving father of Alexandrea Wagner of Southborough and the committed partner of Leah Olson, also of Southborough. He was the cherished brother of Donna Foisy & her husband William of Groton, Kimberly Audette & her husband Michael of Upton, Billie Brown & her late husband Michael of Turner Falls, & Deborah Appelbaum & her husband Seth of Porthsmouth, NH. Uncle, father figure & best friend of Daniel Bekebrede & his wife Regina of Framingham & Jason Bekebrede, also of Framingham. Predeceased by his father figure and mentor Desmond “Dezi” Reeves. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Saturday, July 6th at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday, July 5th from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment is private.
