Four hour manhunt, hit and run driver, and false alarms: Police news and logs (07/05/13-07/07/13)

Metrowest Daily News reported that Southborough police were part of a 4 hour manhunt on the night of Tuesday, July 2nd:

Police from Southborough, Westborough and Northborough as well as two state police search dogs scoured the area of Johnson and Chestnut Hill roads between about 6:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. following a reported assault.

Since Friday, Southborough police have investigated a hit and run, a dozen burglar alarms, and a “stolen” item later reported as found.

Friday, July 5

  • 0033 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0359 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 1019 hrs- Officers investigated a report of solicitors on Leonard Drive.
  • 1049 hrs- A medical was reported at St. Mark’s School.
  • 1242 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1401 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
  • 1619 hrs- An officer investigated a report of an attempted identity theft from a Pinecone Lane resident.
  • 1858 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a David Henry Gardner Lane residence.
  • 2122 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 2131 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.

Saturday, July 6

  • 0024 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0034 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 0110 hrs- ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol (2nd Offense); Speeding; and Marked Lane Violations.
  • 0235 hrs- Officers responded to a Killam Farm Lane residence for a report of a possible intruder in the home. The responding officers checked the residence with the home owner, and reported back that everything was in good order.
  • 0344 hrs- An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Framingham Road.
  • 0351 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious male party on the side of Marlboro Road. The male party checked out ok, and was sent on his way.
  • 0712 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm on Latisquama Road.
  • 1015 hrs- A resident of Oregon Road reported a possible phone scam. A report was filed on the incident.
  • 1132 hrs- A medical was reported at a Wyndemere Drive residence.
  • 1259 hrs- A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
  • 1451 hrs- An officer attempted to serve a Restraining Order to a Flagg Road resident.
  • 1995 hrs- A woman reported her wallet was lost somewhere in town today. A report was filed on the incident.
  • 2049 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Parkerville Road residence.
  • 2107 hrs- A resident of Chestnut Hill Road reports that their residence may have been broken into, after they reportedly could not find a missing item in their home. Officers responded and took a report. A short time after, the resident called back to report the item was found.
  • 2334 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the area of Boston Road. The vehicle left the area prior to officers arriving on scene.

Sunday, July 7

  • 0240 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Turnpike Road area. Motorist was looking for a place to buy gas.
  • 0638 hrs- An officer responded to a Hit & Run with property damage report on Metcalf Lane. The operator left the scene, but was later located in Marlborough by Marlborough Police. The vehicle was towed from Marlborough, and a Southborough officer is currently investigating the incident.
  • 0800 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0939 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 0940 hrs- A medical was reported at a Clemmons Street residence.
  • 1133 hrs- A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 1707 hrs- A motorist reported an erratic operator on Turnpike Road near the Framingham line. Framingham Police were advised of the report.
  • 1904 hrs- A motorist from Milford, MA was issued a Criminal Application for operating a motor vehicle without being licensed. The owner of the vehicle was also cited for allowing the operation of their motor vehicle by an unlicensed operator.
  • 1914 hrs- A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
  • 2126 hrs- A medical was reported at a Marlboro Road residence.
  • 2155 hrs- A tow truck driver requested police presence during the repossession of a motor vehicle of a Johnson Road resident.
  • 2203 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
