Sunday, September, 15, 2013:

  • SOLF 25th Anniversary (1:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Beals Preserve (Click here for schedule of activities)

Monday, September 16, 2013:

  • Falconi Golf Tournament (8:00 am breakfast, 9:00 am shotgun start) @ Juniper Hill: Banquet, awards and raffle following golf
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 am – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library: for children age 2-5 years and their parents or caregivers. Each week will feature stories and a craft based on a theme. Drop-in, no registration required.

Tuesday, September 17, 2013:

  • ARHS Parent/Teacher Open House (6:30 pm) @ Algonquin: Parents can follow the student’s schedule)
  • “400 & Rising” (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Presentation on impact of rising CO2 levels and what you can do, by Southborough Green Technology and Recycling Committee

Wednesday, September 18, 2013:

  • “Living Where You Want with the Care You Need” (8:00 – 9:00 am)@ Senior Center: Understanding Assisted Living: In this seminar, Attorney Arthur Bergeron will invite guests to talk about assisted living, the costs and benefits, and how you can use veterans’ benefits and other programs to defray the cost. Refreshments will be served (sponsored by Mirick O’Connell)
  • Senor Parent College Night (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin
  • The Flute Player – One Book event (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Documentary about the subject of this year’s one-book, one-school, one-community – Never Fall Down by Patricia McCormick will follow. All are invited.

Thursday, September 19, 2013:

  • Finn and Woodward early release
  • The Great Gatsby (12:00 – 2:25 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Please feel free to bring your lunch to enjoy before the movie. The room will be open at 11:30am. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Mulligan and Tobey Maguire. It is rated PG-13.
  • Open House/Curriculum Night (6:00 – 7:30 pm) @ Finn School
  • Author Don Wilding (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: The co-founder of the Henry Beston Society, will speak about his book, Henry Beston’s Cape Cod and how The Outermost House inspired the creation of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Saturday, September 21, 2013:

  • New England Harmony Brigade (8:30 – 9:30 pm) @ Algonquin: ARHS’ Chamber, Camerata and A-Gents Choral groups will be the opening act for the 2nd annual concert of acapella and barbershop music. ($15 pp, $10 for students 18 and under) Click here for more information or to buy tickets.
