Police logs (11/28/13-12/1/13): Child endangerment and icy roads

An arrest for driving under the influence and child endangerment was reported in the Metrowest Daily News last week. The arrest is listed in Saturday’s incident report below. You can read more about that by clicking here.

Officers were kep busy on Sunday, responding to 10 car accidents. Presumably, most were caused by the icy roads that morning.

Thurs. November 28, 2013:

  • 0620 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Ashley Road residence.
  • 0931 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Lovers Lane residence.
  • 1319 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Parkerville Road residence.
  • 1406 hrs- A medical was reported at a Sadie Hutt Lane residence.
  • 1444 hrs- Officers responded to a Breakneck Hill Road residence to investigate a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located a short time later.
  • 1527 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male walking on Boston Road. Officers located the male party, and he checked out ok.

Friday, November 29, 2013:

  • 0136 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 0155 hrs- Officers investigated a noise complaint on Gen Henry Knox Road.
  • 0443 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1012 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1229 hrs- A motorist from South Grafton was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Registration.
  • 1429 hrs- Officers responded to Breakneck Hill Road to investigate a complaint of a motor vehicle driving on conservation property. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival to the scene.
  • 1654 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a motor vehicle driving on walking trails by Sears Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival. 

Saturday, November 30, 2013:

  • 0040 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0239 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Turnpike Road.
  • 0447 hrs- Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
  • 0641 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0723 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside of a Turnpike Road business. The individual was an employee of the business.
  • 0852 hrs- A resident of Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration; Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle; and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
  • 0940 hrs- Officers investigated a parking complaint on Reservoir Drive.
  • 1004 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Marlboro Road residence.
  • 1033 hrs- A motorist from Ashland was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration; Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Speeding.
  • 1100 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1119 hrs- An officer responded to a residence on Ward Road, after the homeowner called to report that their door lock was tampered with. The responding officer took a report on the incident.
  • 1225 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Brigham Street residence.
  • 1228 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 1354 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol; Operating Under the Influence with Child Endangerment; and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
  • 1422 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1436 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Nipmuc Lane residence.
  • 1812 hrs- Officers responded to the Transfer Station to investigate a report of someone jumping over the fence. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
  • 2230 hrs- Officers investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.

Sunday, December 1, 2013:

  • 0037 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0123 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 0416 hrs- A medical was reported at a Walnut Drive residence.
  • 0732 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Parmenter Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 0740 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene.
  • 0746 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle rollover accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported from the scene.
  • 0800 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene.
  • 0800 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene.
  • 0811 hrs- A medical was reported at a Bantry Road residence.
  • 0825 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Injuries were reported from the scene.
  • 0830 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0921 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1032 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1045 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported at the scene.
  • 1134 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 1750 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1812 hrs- Officers responded to a Southville road residence after a resident reported an on-going, verbal domestic at the residence. Responding officers were able to keep the peace, and no charges were filed.
  • 1819 hrs- Officers responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of a missing woman. The woman was located a short time later by one of the responding officers.
  • 1853 hrs- Officers responded to Carriage Hill Circle to investigate a report the sound of “gunshots” in the area. The responding officers determined that unknown individual(s) had shot off fireworks in the area. They also reported back negative findings.
