Above: Here’s hoping it’s another beautiful day for The Friends of the Southborough Library’s Book Sale outside and inside the library this Saturday.

Here are highlights of what’s happening around town this weekend. For more details and the full list, check the Event Calendar.

  • Friends of the Southborough Library Book Sale (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Annual fundraiser for The Friends of the Southborough Library. Two downstairs rooms are reserved for the sale. And if weather cooperates, a section of the lower parking lot will also be cordoned off for the sale. For more details, see dedicated post.

Sunday, June 8, 2014:

  • Tag Sale and Family Fun Fair (11:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Banthorn/Bantry/Blackthorn neighborhood:  Free fun includes a bouncy house and face painting. Residents are raising funds to protect their neighborhood. They will be selling lemonade and baked goodies. The tag sale will include furniture, baby/kid items and household items.
  • ARHS Graduation Day (2:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School

Updated (6/6/14 4:30 pm): Residents of the Banthorn/Bantry/Blackthorn neighborhood informed me their tag sale is in support of a cause (protecting their neighborhood) and includes free family fun. Two good reasons to spread the news!
