Globe: Ex-Assabet coach indicted for alleged inappropriate touching

 

The Boston Globe reports that a former coach from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School is facing charges for touching students in ’08 & ’09:

The former varsity volleyball coach at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough has been indicted on charges of indecent assault and battery in allegedly touching girls on his team inappropriately in 2008 and 2009, officials said.

Jeremiah Encarnacion, 30, of Marlborough, pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecent assault and battery and three counts of accosting a member of the opposite sex at his recent arraignment in Middlesex Superior Court, said Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office.

In a statement, Ryan’s office said Encarnacion was released on personal recognizance, required to wear a GPS monitoring device, and ordered not work or volunteer to work with children under the age of 16.
