Sign up for youth lacrosse – Boys’ info night tonight; Registration beginning for boys and girls

Registration season is opening for both boys and girls youth lacrosse.

Tonight, boys’ NYSLA is holding a parent information session:

Boys Youth Lacrosse flyerNorthborough-Southborough Youth Lacrosse Association (NSYLA) registration for the upcoming Spring 2015 season [is taking] place in November. This is open to boys in both towns in grades 2 through 8.

Registration [is] open for the first week (November 1 – 6) only for returning players, and then it will open for all on November 6th. Registration will close November 26th.

There will be an Information Night on Wednesday, November 5th from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Northborough Library. New and returning Parents and players are invited to come. There will be a brief presentation and then questions are welcome. Details about our program, the sport of lacrosse, equipment, uniforms and the league we play in and its’ philosophy are some of the topics we will cover.

Meanwhile, lacrosse isn’t just for boys anymore. Girls Lacrosse has its own organization, NSGL. And they are also recruiting for the spring: 

Girls Youth Lacrosse flyerNorthborough-Southborough Girls Lacrosse registration  [is taking] place in November for the upcoming Spring, 2015 season. This is open to girls in both towns in grades 1 through 8. You will sign up your child based on their grade.

Registration [is] open for the first week (November 2nd – 9th) ONLY for all returning players. Registration will then open on November 10th for all new players. Registration will close November 30th.

Both organizations warn that they may have waiting lists or not be able to accept all players. So, if your kids are into lacrosse, don’t wait too long to sign up.
