Algonquin still has one team bidding for a state title.

Girls Cross Country made it to their state championship in Boston. Unfortunately, the team came in last place for their 5K run.

At division finals on Saturday, ARHS Boys Soccer only scored one goal. It was all they needed. The top seed team blocked 3rd seed Wachusetts from scoring and took the title of division champs.

On Tuesday, they head to Nashoba for the state semi-finals. They’ll face off against Amherst at 7:00 pm. The winner will play in the state finals Friday night, 7:30 pm at WPI.

The Girls didn’t fare as well. The 4th seed team fought its way to their division championship at Nashoba. That’s where it ended, with 3rd seed Nashoba winning 1-0.

No Football this week. They’ll be prepping for their annual grudge match against Westborough. It will be an away game, starting at 10:15 am on Thanksgiving.
