The Senior Center will host their Autumn Fair this Saturday. Volunteers will be selling refreshments and “unique table offerings.”

This is an the annual fundraiser for the Friends of the Council of the Aging. So plan to stop by on Saturday, November 22 between 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Organizers plan to sell:

  • Knitted hats, mittens, and scarves
  • “the infamous pot scrubbers”
  • homemade baked goods
  • unique jewelry
  • new and gently used attic treasures
  • and “incredible” raffle items.

But the most notable offering at this year’s sale are the street signs from Southborough neighborhoods. The Department of Public Works donated the discarded street signs to the COA for sale as novelty items.

Of course, all the goods for sale are donated, including the baked goods. So, you can also help out by dropping off your baked donations on Friday or the morning of the sale.
