Discover prehistoric creatures at the library – Wednesday

Above: Animal World Experience will be bringing some of their ancient friends to the library. I don’t know if these are among the ones kids will get to pet next week. But from their photos, I preferred these to the snakes and hissing cockroaches! (Photos from website and Facebook)

It seems like much of our town is fleeing the snow next week. There aren’t many events planned for February break (other than some sports camps). But here’s one thing to entertain the kids. . .

The Southborough Library will be holding a Dino Discovery program on Wednesday, February 18 at 2:30 pm.

Animal World Experience will visit the library with some fossils and ancient animals:

This one of a kind program is a blast from the prehistoric past! Meet our most ancient animal friends in person and you even get to touch and hold real fossils that are millions of years old!/blockquote>
The event is for kids of all ages – no registration required.

Of course, Wednesday isn’t the only time you can stop by the library.

Like other government offices, the library will be closed on Monday for President’s Day. But Tues-Sat, if you’re kids are getting stir crazy, head on over to the Children’s Room to check out some books, dancing music, movies, etc.
