Monday, March 23, 2015:

  • Power of Air Pressure – Science Around You (11:15 am) @ Southborough Library, lower level, Eaton Room: This is a fun science program for little scientists ages 3-6. In this session, children will learn about weather. Registration is required.Finn_woodward_principals_coffee_unthinkables

Tuesday, March 24, 2015:

  • Finn & Woodward Principal’s Coffee (9:30 am) @ Finn School, library: “Social Thinking and Zones: What ‘Unthinkables’ are invading your brain?” Featuring the schools’ psychologists and speech and language pathologists, plus Woodward’s behavior specialist. Presentation includes what kids are learning about the Social Thinking, and how to defeat “Unthinkables” that interfere with learning and relationships.   • superintendent_luncheonMeet & Greet the Superintendent (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The school budget accounts for a majority of the town’s budget. Come visit with new Superintendent, Christine Johnson, and hear about the specifics of our town’s school budget. Click on flyer to enlarge for more details.
  • United Parishes’ Lenten series (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Pilgrim Church: The United Parishes of Southborough are inviting the community to their 13th annual Lenten series. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Problems with Lyme and Other Tick-Borne Diseases (7:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: A public presentation sponsored by the Southborough Open Land Foundation and the Southborough Board of Health. The program is free and open to the public. For details, see dedicated post.

Wednesday, March 25, 2015:

  • Mohegan Sun Bus Trip (8:30 am – 4:30 pm): Trip to and from Senior Center. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Stuffed Animals (11:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Early pre-registration was requested for this class. For details, see dedicated post.

Thursday, March 26, 2015:

  • Southborough UNscheduled (Evening): This is an annual NON-event, organized by Southborough Youth & Family Services. Residents are encouraged to focus on time together as a family this evening. Schools and town organizations cooperate to clear schedules of meetings and practices that evening. (Many after school activities including RAP still take place in the afternoon.) Friday, March 27, 2015:

  • Bingo (12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Come join Lena and Frank for an afternoon of Bingo, fun, prizes and of course Frank’s jokes. Bingo will start promptly at 12:30. The room will be open at noon if you would like to bring and enjoy your lunch before numbers are called.
  • Surprise Retirement Party for Paul Berry (7:00 pm) @ Doubletree Hotel, 5400 Computer Drive, Westborough: Surprise Party in honor of retired Town Clerk, Paul J. Berry. For details, see dedicated post.

Saturday, March 28, 2015:

  • 5th Annual Fay Festival (12:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Fay School’s Harlow Gym and Harris Theater. Parking @ 25 Middle Road: A free spring celebration open to families with children ages 2 to 10 years.
