Obituary: James H. Nutter, III, 84

James H. Nutter, III, 84, of Southborough died after suddenly being stricken ill on Sunday, May 17, 2015.

Born in Fords, NJ, he was the son of the late James H. and Mary (Howie) Nutter, Jr.

Mr. Nutter was a 1952 graduate of Tufts University and worked for over 30 years as a chemical engineer for the former Betz Entec. He was an active member of the Southborough Senior Citizens, where he performed many day to day duties. Jim was also an active member of the United Brethren Lodge of Marlborough and was a Master Mason for many years. In addition, he was member of the Southborough Rod and Gun Club, G.O.A.L., and a lifelong member of both the NRA and Colonial Craftsmen Club of Colonial MA.

He filled his time with helping people. His local family will miss him deeply. 

He is survived by his children, James H. Nutter, IV and his wife Mary Lu of N. Grafton; Cecilia Miles of FL; his grandchildren, James Nutter of Salem; Eric Nutter of N. Grafton; Joshua Nutter of Almeda, CA; and Nicole and Samantha Miles.

He is predeceased by a son, David Nutter.
