Police logs (5/22-5/25/15): A rest stop and brush fires

A commuter took a nap in a parking lot. (Better than driving tired!) And several brush fires popped up on Sunday.

Friday, May 22, 2015:

  • 0013 hrs – An officer on patrol checked on a male party sleeping in his vehicle in front of a Turnpike Road business. The motorist was reportedly taking a break from a long commute.
  • 0811 hrs – An officer took a larceny report of a stolen crosswalk sign in front of Fay School on Main Street.
  • 0811 hrs – An abandoned motor vehicle was towed from the Carriage Hill Circle neighborhood.
  • 1102 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Middle Road residence.
  • 1753 hrs – A well-being check was conducted at a Southville Road residence.
  • 1823 hrs – Officers investigated a report of solicitors in the area of Darlene Drive.
  • 1931 hrs – An officer took a report of a possible scam from a Pinecone Lane resident.
  • 1939 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Flagg Road residence.
  • 2338 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 2357 hrs – A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.

Saturday, May 23, 2015:

  • 0149 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area.
  • 0735 hrs – An abandoned motorcycle was found parked on the side of Sears Road.
  • 1237 hrs – An officer assisted with a payment dispute between a customer and a Turnpike Road business owner.
  • 1522 hrs – A lost dog was found and brought back to the police station. The Animal Control Officer responded to the station to pick up the lost dog.
  • 1649 hrs – Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2017 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 2144 hrs – A motorist from Framingham, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Speeding.
  • 2208 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Meeting House Lane residence.

Sunday, May 24, 2015:

  • 0739 hrs – Officers investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1054 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1500 hrs – Officers responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of a large brush fire in the area of Southville Road. Several brush fires were located along the train tracks, from the Ashland town line through to the Westborough town line. Officers assisted with traffic and providing a safe scene for residents and the Fire Department.
  • 1549 hrs – A brush fire was reported at the 911 Field on Acre Bridge Road.
  • 1623 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of a brush fire in the area of Madison Place.
  • 1837 hrs – A medical was reported at a Valley Road residence.
  • 2000 hrs – An officer responded to a Cordaville Road business to investigate a report of suspicious activity. Two male parties were located in the area, but both checked out ok.
  • 2326 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.

Monday, May 25, 2015:

  • 1132 hrs – A motorist from Hudson was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration; Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and having No Inspection Sticker.
  • 1539 hrs – An officer took a Harassing Phone Calls complaint from a Lynbrook Road resident.
  • 2002 hrs – An officer took a vandalism report at the 911 Field.
  • 2150 hrs – A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
