The Southborough Library is holding a special “Teen Crafternoon” series.

The workshops began earlier this month and are continuing through the summer, with four more scheduled.

In the next session, artist Mandy Roberge will teach teens about henna tattoos:

How exactly is henna made?! Learn the science ropes of mixing up this delicate paste and learn about the “signs” that the mixture has become ready to stain the skin.

In each session, teens will get a chance to see the artist’s work and ask questions about her process. They will also get the chance to start their own projects.

The following workshops all take place at 6:00 pm at the Southborough Library:

06/25/2015 – Henna Tattoos – Instructor/Artist Mandy Roberge (ahroberge@gmail.com)

07/30/2015 – Needle Felting – Instructor/Artist Rory Valentine (rorynv@aol.com)

08/27/2015 – Sewing – Instructor/Artist Mandy Roberge (ahroberge@gmail.com)

09/24/2015 – Printmaking – Instructor/Artist Terry Monteith (monteithtl@yahoo.com)

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Southborough Cultural Arts Council, a local agency which is supported the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
