Earlier this summer, I shared Chestnut Hill Farm’s plans to sell 1/2 season shares. The shares are for 10 weeks of the Community Supported Agriculture season.

The registration for that 1/2 season CSA program is now open. Here are some details and other farm news:

Chestnut Hill CSA is offering a 10 week share for the latter half of the growing season! It will run from August 25th through the end of October. Pick-up days are the same- Tuesday or Friday 3-6p. This is the bulk of the harvest season with tomatoes, peppers ,eggplant, potatoes, fall greens and roots, winter squashes, flowers and herbs. Splitting of shares is allowed, only one person has to have a Trustees membership to join.

Also a reminder that the farm-stand is open 3 days per week Tues and Friday 3-6 and Saturdays from 9-12 for those who don’t want to commit to a share but are interested in fresh produce! It is open to the public so you don’t have to be a Trustees member to shop at the farm-stand.

Our next Saturday at Chestnut Hill event is September 5th from 10a-2p and we will be doing some seed-saving in the flower garden and printing with vegetables as our kids craft. We will have more information and schedule in the next couple of weeks.
