  • Krosslink Kickoff Event (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library Main Floor: In partnership with Krosslink.org, this program is aimed at supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs as they jump-start their companies. Includes expert guest speakers and business counselors. (For details, see dedicated post.)

  • NSPAC Coffee and Connect (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council’s monthly gathering. It’s a chance for parents/guardians to connect with other members of the community facing similar challenges. (For details on the monthly series, see dedicated post.)
  • Fay School Classroom Visit Day (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Fay School: Curious about the difference an independent school can make in your child’s life? Located in Southborough, Fay is an outstanding Pre-K-9, coed day school, with 5-day and 7-day boarding available in grades 7-9. Attend our first Classroom Visit Day of the year to learn more! Classroom Visit Days offer a unique opportunity for you and your child to see Fay School at its best as you tour our campus, talk with teachers and lead administrators, and observe students and teachers in action on a typical school day.   • ARHS Financial Aid Night (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, Auditorium

  • Board of Health’s Senior Flu Clinic (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road: The flu clinic for residents aged 65 and older Seniors are eligible to receive a High Dose Flue Vaccine. However, the high dose version is not covered by Tufts. (For details, see dedicated post.)
  • Board of Health’s Town Wide Flu Clinic (2:30 – 4:30 pm) @ Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road: Town Wide Flu Clinic The flu clinic for for residents ages 12 and up. (For details, see dedicated post.)
  • Legos at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Public Library: Children are welcome to come build with Legos, and display their creations in the Children’s Room. Legos will be provided, but all materials need to remain at the library. Parents or caregivers must stay with children during this event.
  • The Dead Walk… Library Zombie Night! (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library Main Floor: We will be preparing Walking Dead fans for the new season with our first Library Zombie Night. (For details, see dedicated post.)

  • Poetry Workshop Series (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Public Library, main floor: The Southborough Public Library & the Worcester County Poetry Association are teaming up to bring a short series of poetry writing workshops to the community! “A Vexing Compromise” focuses on examining work of a single poet each session.   • Electronic, Appliance, and Bicycle Recycle Day (9:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Saint Anne’s Church parking lot. A portion of the event proceeds will be paid to St. Anne’s Church. (For more details view the calendar entry.)

  • Chestnut Hill Farm Harvest Festival (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm, Chestnut Hill Road: A day long celebration of the fall and farm.  (For details, see dedicated post and stay tuned for more details.)
  • Drop-off for Heritage Day pumpkin wall (4:00 – 6:00 pm) in front of the Southborough Library: Drop off your decorated pumpkins for the 17th Annual “Light Up Southborough”
  • Scarecrow Contest entry drop-off (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Community House, 28 Main St: The Rotary Club is collecting entries for the annual Heritage Day Scarecrow Contest. (For details, see dedicated post.)
  • Light-Up Southborough (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Old Burial Grounds: The stone wall surrounding Southborough’s Old Burial Grounds will be lined with lit up pumpkins decorated and contributed by residents of all ages. The 17th annual event is run by the Southborough Rotary Club. The viewing line begins in front of the Southborough Library, continues up Common Street, and turns onto St. Mark’s Street.
