Young Scientists – free Thursday morning program for 3-6 year olds

There are a few weeks left of a free science program in town for preschoolers.

The program is held at the Southborough Library on Thursday mornings through October 22nd*. Drop-in is from 10:15 am – 11:00 am:

Young Scientists
for children, ages 3-6, with a Parent/Caregiver

A hands-on enrichment program with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities and a story time for children, ages 3-6, with their parent or caregiver. Younger siblings are welcome.

Young Scientists is put on by the YMCA Family and Community Partnership (YFCP). The YFCP, formerly known as Together We Can Family Network, offers free educational programs for area tots.

When my oldest was a toddler, I used to enjoy some of their offerings in Marlborough. Then they were rolled into the YMCA, and everything seemed to be inconvenient. So, I was excited to see they are offering something within our borders.

My kids are too old to join. But I’m hoping some of you can take advantage!

*Note: Young Scientists is run by YMCA and not the library, therefore isn’t listed on the library website’s events page.
