The Epicurean Room is Assabet’s full-service, student-run restaurant, bake shop and catering service. This year, it’s undergone a renovation. The restaurant had their “soft opening” last week.

Tomorrow marks their grand re-opening for the public with an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. Expect some new additions but at the same low price.

The school is also previewing “Epi Express” selling ready-made lunches and prepared foods.

Here’s their announcement:

After a busy summer of renovation, Assabet Valley Regional Technical High is ready to show off the Epicurean Restaurant, by re-opening to the public with an All-You-Can-Eat Lunch Buffet on Thursday, October 15th. There are many beautiful new additions, but the cost for a full meal, including coffee and dessert, remains at only $8.75. Normal hours will be Wednesday through Friday, 11 AM to 1 PM, and the first Wednesday of each month will be the ever popular All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet. Reservations are encouraged as the restaurant often fills, particularly on buffet day. Please call 508-485-9430, ext. 1119.

A new feature sure to be a hit with staff and visitors alike will be the Epi Express, featuring ready to go lunch items as well as prepared foods that can be reheated for dinner at home. Watch the website for details and menus.
