The Southborough Senior Center’s annual Veterans Day celebration takes place next week.
It’s never falls on the actual holiday when they are closed. Instead they’ll honor veterans a day early with a noon luncheon on Tuesday, November 10.
The meal (free to veterans) will be set to patriotic songs and a Color Guard Flag Ceremony.
This year, the center’s Senior Songsters will be joined by 3rd grade students from Woodward School.
For non-veterans, the center is suggesting a donation of $6 for members of the Friends of COA and $10 for non-members. To sign up, call (508) 229-4453.
Lunch will be catered by The Epicurean Restaurant at Assabet Valley Technical High School. On offer: Chicken Cordon Bleu or Baked Scrod, Steamed Vegetable Medley, Oven Roasted Potato, Dessert and Drink.
