BOS meeting tonight won’t air live: Main St and Debt Capacity

Southborough Access Media asked me to update that they are still working out their issues. So, if you’d like to see the Board of Selectmen meeting live tonight, best head to the Town House at 6:30.

Tonight’s agenda is fairly packed. It includes an update from the Main St Design Working Group.

An email from an interested reader reminded me that at least one issue is yet to be resolved. As of the 25% plan approval, a final decision on debated parking limitations along the section of Route 30 near the library was pushed off to the 75% stage of the project. At issue are parking in front of Morris Funeral Home and Dr. Stone’s office, plus a parking prohibition on Common Street. (Based on the email I received, I expect that to be raised tonight.)

Also on tap for tonight are a Debt presentation followed by a Joint meeting with Advisory, Public Safety, and Debt Capacity committees. They’ll be focused on determining how much debt is reasonable to incur for a public safety complex.

The board will also hear the FY15 Audit Report and an update from the Town Clerk.

But don’t worry if you can’t make it. The meeting will be recorded for later posting to SAM’s YouTube channel. (And, of course, I’ll try to tackle the highlights.)
