Chestnut Hill Farm is celebrating winter again this Saturday with a special event – “Full Moon Winter Fun on the Farm”.
Once again, they had hoped to hold a night sledding & snowshoeing event, but the snowfall forecast looks a bit paltry. Still, the Trustees of Reservations have other fun activities on tap.
The event is free for TTOR* members. For non-members, it’s $5 per person.
From 5:00 – 7:00 on January 23rd, attendees can enjoy:
- Roasting marshmallows around a campfire – and yes, of course, making s’mores
- Making and flying LED kites
- Hot chocolate and cider
(And, if the snow comes in heavier than expected, they’ll throw in some sledding runs!)
To join in the fun, park in the CSA parking area and walk over to the CSA barn (they will light the way).
*Remember, if you joined the farm’s CSA, you had to become a TTOR member first. So that includes you.
