  • Sing-a-Long with Nancy Gage (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Seniors, come join a piano sing-a-long. Enjoy the three sessions with many members exercising their vocal cords and enjoying the group songs! No experience necessary—just a lot of fun, especially during these winter days! No Charge
  • Knitting/Crocheting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center, Cordaville Road: Come join a group of ladies working on their own creations and discussing possible community projects. Stop by for a cup of coffee and visit with the group or join right in.

  • Trottier School early dismissal (11:20 am): Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Legos at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Public Library: Children are welcome to come build with Legos, and display their creations in the Children’s Room. Legos will be provided, but all materials need to remain at the library. Parents or caregivers must stay with children during this event.

  • Author Series: Kathleen Laplante (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Main Floor: Kathleen Laplante author of the Memoir “Unraveling My Father’s Suicide” will speak. From Facebook: “Kathleen’s dad took his life on her 21st birthday. In this captivating story, she intimately discusses her struggles and eventual acceptance of his death.”

  • Free toddler party – Share the Love (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ South Union Building, 21 Highland Street: “Share the Love” free party hosted by Southborough Recreiation for tots ages 5 and under and caregivers. (This will take place of Toddler Free Play) For more details on the party (postponed by last week’s snow), click here.
  • Senior Matinee – The Intern (12:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Free movie screening for Southborough seniors. Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway star in this PG-13 comedy about a 70 yr old retired executive who returns to the workforce as an intern at an e-commerce startup. Before the show, the center will serve lunch at 11: 30 am (suggested donation of $3). Seniors are also welcome to bring their own lunch. To ensure there is enough lunch to serve – please pre-register at 508-229-4453.
  • Screening of Southborough Veterans: Local Life Lessons 7:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Come see this home grown 30 minute documentary about nine local veterans, who are also your very own neighbors. This promises to be a fun evening and a great way to show your appreciation to these people, for their past and current contributions to our country and community! Free and open to the public.   • Saturdays at Fay – Superhero Training (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Fay School’s Primary School at 25 Middle Road: This month’s free program for 2-8 year olds will feature Jungle Jim. Join him to learn what it takes to be a true superhero! Space is limited so please visit fayschool.org/saturdays to register for this event. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • SL- Valentine’s Day Party (10:30 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Stop by to make fun crafts and a delicious treat! All children are welcome with a parent or caregiver. Registration is not required.
