Exploring at Art in Bloom: Photo Gallery and video

Above: Opening night reception of the Art in Bloom exhibit. (imaged cropped from post on Southborough Library Facebook page)

Earlier this month, the Southborough Library hosted the annual “Art in Bloom” exhibit. It was a fantastic collaboration between young artists and Southborough Gardeners. Volunteers from the Gardeners created floral interpretions of Algonquin student art.

Yesterday, Southborough Access Media posted a video of the exhibit opening. Several of the student artists explained the origins or inspiration for their art. (Scroll down for that.)

I didn’t make it that night. But I was able to swing by and see it later that week and take pictures. (Unfortunately at about two hours before the library closed, some of the exhibits had already been retrieved!)

Here are the pictures I snapped, along with two I found on the Southborough Library’s Facebook page.
