What to do this long weekend

It looks to be a beautiful, but hot, weekend if you’re staying in town.

If you’re looking to do some day trips over the weekend, don’t forget to check out a museum or park pass from the Southborough Library.

The Library is open until 5:00 pm tonight and on Saturday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Of course, it’s closed on Monday for Memorial Day.

For a reminder about the Town’s Memorial Day parade and service, click here.

If you’re looking for something fun to do on your extra day off, sign up quick for the free Zentangle workshop. (When I wrote this post there were only 4 seats left – and that’s after they already added more!)

On Sunday, you can join the 24 Heroes in 24 Hours fundraiser at Pennant Crossfit.

For some outdoor fun – you can head out to a local state park for swimming at Hopkinton or Ashland if you don’t mind the crowds. (Unfortunately, local splash pads are still closed despite the heat.)

Or if you’re in the mood for a bike ride, take a look at these local options.  Just don’t forget your water bottle!

For anyone thinking about the 24 Heroes in 24 Hours, definitely check it out! Was just there all morning and it’s a great time. You can stop by for 1 hour, or as many as you want. A good workout and a good cause. Runs all day, all night, into tomorrow morning!
